Oh how to wear a pair of Doc Martens

So I just bought a pair of black doc martens. Yay! :D I'm kind of still figuring out how to wear them, so they don't look to punkish.

Here's what I've come up with so far:

Oh, and I'm going to a party on saturday which should be pretty awesome. Hopwfully I'm going with one of my closets friends, although I know a lot of people there. You might get some updates on that if any interesting happens ;P

Walk, walk fashion baby

Paris Fashion Week 2010 (the RTW - Ready-To-Wear) just ended today. It was quite exciting to watch pictures and stuff. Personally I think Chanels show was one of the best. That whole winder wonderland thing they had going was amazing. They were actually walking around in little pools of water! And then the Fall-Winter 2010 2011 collection designed by Karl Lagerfield (for Chanel) they showed! That was truly amazing too. I loved almost every single piece they showed on the catwalk.

Another favourite collection of mine was by the italian couple Maria Grazia Chiru and Pier Paolo. The details and all-in-all the astonishing work that was put in to their collection was really inspiring. And then I love the colors of red they used

The last collection I just have to mention is designed by the french Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Not all the pieces were merely pretty, but it sure was fun to watch. Especially one specific dress caught my eye. I would probably never wear it, but something made me fall absolutely in love with it. What it was, I don't know, but maybe you can judge for yourself:

There once was a guy named Fred...

I was listening to "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen earlier today and I came to thinking how sad it is that people like Freddie Mercury doesn't exist anymore. I mean, sure there are still people that dress up extremely weird and has a great singing voice, but none of them really adds up to Freddie, do they? To me, there will never be one like him again. In a way it's sad, but then again; how lucky was we to have had him? Even if it weren't for long. Luckily his music still exist and we just have to enjoy that.

Looking back at what I just wrote, I find it ironic to base all this on the song "Bohemian Rhapsody". I don't know about you guys, but I never quite got that song... Well, of course I understand the message hidden in the text, but it seems like every verse has its own message and none of them really fits together - ergo there's no conclusion. And it's a bit weird too...

Well, I guess that was it for now. Hopefully the next blog will make a bit more sense ;D
